Jolene Blalock con Sawyer en un Flashback que nunca se emitió

"... La gente de "DarkUFO" repara en un conjunto de fotos que muestran al actor Josh Holloway, en su personaje de Sawyer, compartiendo momentos con una bella chica. Segmento que nunca llegó a salir al aire... (ya te contaremos el porqué) Lo que nosotros podemos agregar es que la chica en cuestión no es más que "Jolene Blalock", la ex protagonista de la serie "Enterprise" y que ahora la veremos en "Starship Troopers 3: Marauder"...

Pero para explicar los acontecimientos hay que remontarse al año 2005 en el estreno del segundo episodio de la segunda temporada, mejor conocido como Adrift. En ese entonces el centro de la historia estaría basado en un flashback de Sawyer, pero gracias a un cambio de planes la historia estuvo finalmente centrada en Michael Dawson, el padre de Walt. (que en aquel entonces estaban a la deriva encima de una balsa)

En el Flashback que protagonizaría Sawyer se explicaba el porque de un gran golpe que daría luego en el episodio 2x13 (The Long Con). Y en esa ocasión era que la actriz Jolene Blalock aparecería en la trama. Otro de los misterios que nunca sabremos de Lost.

Josh Holloway y un paso importante en el cine

El actor Josh Holloway que interpreta a James "Sawyer" Ford comienza una prometedora carrera en el cine. Si bien este hermoso hombre ha sido actor durante varios años, para que la serie Lost le está dando las posibilidades que hasta ahora no había tenido.
Nada menos que con Winona Ryder, Hilary Duff, Jon Cryer, Sean Astin y Chevy Chase. Según se comentó será una comedia romántica que ya se está filmando este mes en la localidad de Santa Clarita en California. La película ha sido escrita y producida por Mark y Michael Polish, pero sólo Michael es el director.
La película se llamará "Stay Cool", será protagonizada por Mark Polish en el papel de un escritor que vuelve a su colegio por un asunto personal, allí se encuentra con el personaje de Winona del que estuvo enamorado toda su adolescencia y a Josh que interpretará a un de los chicos populares, que por supuesto ha sido novio de Winona en la adolescencia.

El anuncio de Josh Holloway levanta polémica en Gran Bretaña

El anuncio de Josh Holloway (Sawyer en Lost) de Cold Water, de Davidoff, ha recibido numerosas protestas de un sector de la población británica, muy solidarizada con los problemas causados por las inmersiones en piscinas y mar sin medir la profundidad del suelo. Josh aparece al lado de un acantilado donde se puede ver un cartel que dice “Deep Water” (agua profunda). Los que se quejan dicen que en el anuncio, el acantilado parece tentador para el tombstoning, una práctica que consiste en que la gente se sumerja en el mar sin medir previamente la profundidad del agua.
Mientras tanto, el dueño de Davidoff se defiende diciendo que tanto el cartel de “Agua Profunda” como el estilo utilizado por Holloway para zambullirse en el mar están bien lejos de la práctica de estilo libre de salto del tombstoning. Aunque las autoridades publicitarias dan la razón al dueño de Davidoff, han decidido que el anuncio no pueda ser emitido en horario de protección al menor, o lo que es lo mismo, antes de las 9 de la noche. Si esto es un anuncio peligroso, deberían retirar todos los dibujos animados que se emiten actualmente. ¡Valiente tontería!

Josh Holloway Talks About His Bachelor Fantasies

Lost hunk Josh Holloway admitted recently that he considered dumping his fianc?when his star began to rise on the hit TV show.
Now happily married, the actor who plays the deceitful bad boy Sawyer told Men's Health magazine, "There's a Hugh Hefner that lives in all men."
"When 'Lost' took off, part of me thought, 'Do I cut and run?' I still like to look around, but respectfully and with no intentions. 'Married, not buried,' I always say."
He wed Yessica Kumula in 2004 after he landed the part in "Lost" but says he can't help but fantasize about bachelorhood: "If I were single? Damn, I'd have one girl doing my laundry, one shaving me, one bringing me a cocktail and another one coming out of my tent all hung over."

Josh Holloway: Hawaii Cops Have it In For Lost Cast

Lost star Josh Holloway fears he and his cast mates have been cursed by success - because they're all "easy" police targets on Hawaii The actor, who plays bad-boy Sawyer on the show, isn't surprised that three of his cast mates have been arrested and six others cited for driving-related incidents in the past 18 months. He tells Glamour magazine, "We're easy targets. First of all we're on an island, which means it's very easily patrolled. And we happen to be famous."
Holloway received a speeding ticket in September. "I told 'em they should be embarrassed about giving me a ticket for doing 53 in a 35 zone. I mean, come on! Go catch real criminals."

Josh Holloway to Play Gambit in X-Men

'Lost' star Josh Holloway is being tipped to star in the next X-Men movie. Holloway, who plays fan favorite Sawyer on the hit TV show, will be cast as Gambit, the X-man comic book mutant who possesses the ability to charge objects with energy, causing them to explode.
Holloway was set to appear in “X-Men 3”, but had to decline the offer. "He auditioned. He signed. He was ready for work”, a source told Moviehole.
“They may say that they just didn’t have a use for him in that movie, but the truth is, Lost wouldn’t let him go for the period of time it was going to take to film his part”.
The film's producer Lauren Shuler Donner told Moviehole, "Remember in Lost? There was a guy in there that was the perfect Gambit, the guy with the straight hair, good-looking, the bad boy… Sawyer. The reason we didn't use Gambit was because in a sense his persona is a bit like Wolverine in that he's got attitude and his power is not quite as exciting as the others."
"That's why we went to Nightcrawler on 2 because he looked different than everybody else and he had a great power. So yes, I think we would weave Gambit within our story, (but) it wouldn't be The Gambit Movie."

Josh Holloway Coulda Been Your Real Estate Agent

Josh Holloway, who plays hunky con man Sawyer on 'Lost', recently told Time magazine that he was like THISCLOSE to giving up his dreams of being a big Hollywood star and going off somewhere to sell real estate. Luckily, he landed his big break on the popular TV show.
Yet even with being a regular on Lost, he thinks his performances on the show are at times wobbly: "...I suck at it sometimes because I get confused."
When asked how he balances playing the complicated Sawyer, a man who is both callous and sensitive, Josh says, "It's been a nice evolution. I miss the simplicity of Sawyer's hard line -- when you're an ass, it's easy. [LOL] I like the subtleties of everything else, but I suck at it sometimes because I get confused."
One thing he does love is that he gets to keep his natural southern drawl (he grew up in Georgia) while playing Sawyer. Josh says, "By nature Southerners like to throw out sayings that help add a little comedy when something's not so comical. But I've got to get back to learning how to lose [the accent] again. For eight years in Hollywood, all I heard was 'get rid of that accent.'"
While Josh acknowledges that 'Lost' was his big break, he admits he thought success would happen to him a lot earlier than it did.
The 38-year-old actor says, "When I first started, I thought, 'I'm gonna be a big star.' Then eight years later, I was skeptical. [Laughs] I was going to move to the country, pursue real estate and be a forest ranger."
"My real estate license came in the mail three days before i booked 'Lost,' he says. "I thought, 'Wow, I'll file that.'"

Le encanta viajar, lleva haciendolo desde los 18, que se escapaba en autobús a Georgia. Dice que aún no ha estado en Nueva Zelanda. Ha estado en casi cualquier lugar, pero no ahi. Y desea ir pronto.

Dice que en cuanto acabe Lost se cortará el pelo, que lo está deseando, y bromea con dejarse un mohawk (peinado punki)

Hawaii está siempre lleno de turistas, y todos llevan cámaras, pero a él no le importa, dice que la gente es muy agradable con él.

Hace snowboard desde hace años, y había empezado a hacer surf, pero alguien del equipo de Lost se cortó la cara haciendo surf, y él se asustó y decidió dejarlo. Concretamente dice que está a gusto en Lost, y que "una herida significa un reemplazo", así que por eso lo dejó.

Le encanta pescar en Hawaii.

Jugó a fútbol y baloncesto durante 10 años, le encanta hacer deporte. También ha probado el submarinismo, la pesca deportiva, el tiro.
